First Paramedic Unit from Gold Cross Ambulance dispatched. Treated 3 of the fallen Firefighters and remained on-scene until relieved at 8:00 AM. I had just graduated ECC Paramedic Class in the previous June. It was the longest night of my career.

Thanks for never forgetting. I truley believe in the "Everyone Gones Home" Thanks for taking the time to make this video. As a father of a Fallen Firefighter I know what it is like to be told that your son was unable to be rescued after falling through the floor to the basement of a residential fire. I just wish that all department carrier and volunteer could see these videos.

I have been doing instructional courses teaching combat firefighting in the sense of Thinking outside the Box of normal firefighting procedures when it comes to terror attacks and what things should have been learned after 9/11. When you actually think about the term "combat", your mind thinks of war like tactics. But in the case of where we are in the business of saving lives, the whole mind set changes when it comes down to responding to a possible terror attack and what is the next mode of thought that you as the firefighter or company officer (Engine
Truck or Rescue)should have. I learned quite a few things being a first responder at both terror attacks at the World Trade Center in NYC and as a former federal officer for USDHS (Homeland Security). As a volunteer firefighter who has that experience, I have gone as far as teaching my guys about Terrorism Awareness and what its effects are (explosive and CBRNE). I find these web based sites to be very helpful when I need to refer back into some points of firefighting as well as knowledge of fire ground ops and what my role as a first responder is. Thank you for all of the knowledge you make possible on this site

Excellent report and write up on this incident. I will be bringing this forward within my department. Does anyone have the information already put into a training program? I really dislike recraeting something that someone may have already done and is willing to share.
